| Open Days for Peckerwood Garden Peckerwood Garden lies about 50 minutes from downtown Houston and 2 hours from Austin off Highway 290 (see map below). You can visit the garden on the following special Open Days listed below. Access to the garden is by tour only, which start at 1:00 and 3:00 P.M. These tours provide an insight to the garden and many of the plant's origins. 2008 Open Days
Garden open from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. Admission is $10 per person No reservation is needed, but a minimum $10.00 donation is required for admittance to the garden. Students (12 and older) are admitted free. Unfortunately, small children, baby strollers, and pets are not allowed in the garden due to the delicate and sharp plants. For more information about our Open Days, please contact us. Yucca Do Nursery, adjacent to the garden, carries most of the plant material found in the garden and will be open for business on Saturday only. Visit the Yucca Do web site for more information.

Special Horticulural Tours Horticultural tours can be arranged
any time of the year for groups or individuals who want a more personalized
experience of the garden, with special attention given to history,
botanical significance, design,
